They deliver NATIONWIDE. Recipe You’ll need… 500g beef mince @jameskittow 1 tin chopped tomatoes 1 tsp sugar 2 Bay leaves and a sprig of rosemary 1 leek. The white end, chopped Olive oil 3 garlic cloves 1 tbsp flour 1 tbsp tomato puree 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 3 tsp sweet paprika 1 tsp dijon mustard 1 Chicken stock pot Tbsp flour 200ml boiling water Topping… 2 mugs self raising flour 1/2 mug cold water 2 tbsp @trewithen_dairy yogurt 50g @trewithen_dairy salted butter 1 tsp Worcester sauce 1/2 tsp white pepper 100g grated @davidstowcheddar cheese Milk for brushing Start off by browning your meat in a heavy oven and hob safe skillet. Then add your garlic and leeks and let it soften for 5-10 minutes. Add the rest of the ingredients, and bring up to a simmer. Let that now stay at this level of heat for 20 minutes whilst you make your scones. For the scones, lightly complete the flour and butter together with your finger tips until breadcrumbs then add the yogurt, cheese, worcester sauce, and gradually add the water, lightly combining with your finger tips still, u til it forms a ball. Don’t overwork this. Just enough so that it forms a ball of dough, then stop. Flour your surface and roll into a sausage about 3 inches, then cut into rounds. pop on the top of the mince. (Remove bayleaves/ rosemary stalks at this point) and brush with milk. Pop the whole dish in the oven on 220⁰ for 30 minutes, check the scones are cooked through, and not raw in the middle before serving. Serve with mash and lemony spring greens. Enjoy Moml x
